The CAUMUN Archive
With over 150 delegates and three days of remarkable, professional, and competitive debate

Let's Begin With a Thank You
With profound gratitude and no small measure of pride, we mark the successful conclusion of CAUMUN 2025. The last conference was of uncommon calibre and of earnest spirit: across days of quality discourse, debate, and diplomatic finesse, delegates conducted themselves with admirable decorum and professionalism. Hosted at the campus of our Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy with six sitting committees in total, each executing its mandate with notable precision and academic vigour, and a general theme centred on the ever-relevant and deeply complex affairs of the Middle East, the conference proved to be a breath of fresh air for MUN in Georgia.
Our deepest thanks are extended to the chairs, to our ushers, to our club’s curators, to CAUMUN's sponsors, and to every participant whose labours, both seen and unseen, lent the proceedings of the conference an incomparable polish and purpose - a sort of polish and purpose found only at CAUMUN.
DELEGATE REFLECTIONS
We asked delegates to reflect on the time spent at CAUMUN, and especially their committee. Here are some of the most interesting responses & moments:

"I remember we were trying to pass a resolution, but it kept repeatedly failing and we were in deadlock. An emergency caucus was called and we navigated through the committee procedure to achieve a final deal."
- the delegate of France in the UNSC
"Success in CAUMUN demands immense sacrifice and tireless hard work. The delegates push themselves to their limits, giving up comfort to pursue becoming the best."
- the delegate of Poland in the UNESCO committee
"The best moment in the UNHSC was definitely Slovenia and Serbia going in head-to-head confrontation about Serbian military action in Bosnia Herzegovina."
- the delegate of France in the UNHSC
"Foes are many, allies are few. Good luck"
- the delegate of Israel in the UNSC

The UNESCO committee was the only committee to pass more than one resolution. With two resolutions passed, it tackled the issue of protecting cultural heritage sites in middle eastern conflict zones. The resolutions were the smallest of the conference, both being 3 pages long.
